I was continually peaking into all the tiny homes. Adults will marvel at the beautiful scenery and hidden gems.
Youngsters will love the cuteness of the title. Ghost Giant takes elements of puzzle and platform games and mixes them into a deeply immersive story/game. Remember, Louis is the only one who can see you! Use your giant hands to help Louis in his quest. Standing by the water is the super cute hero of this game – Louis, an 11-year-old kitten from the town of Sancourt. You look down on the trees, house and lake. When the game loads you’re transported to a beautifully rendered tiny world. In Ghost Giant, the view is completely reversed. Frequently VR games place you in a big expansive room or universe. The perspective is fascinating and nothing like anything else I’ve experienced in VR before. The main game loads and you find yourself as a giant in a tiny world. I’d go as far as to say that it could completely change the direction of the VR games market. Thankfully, I didn’t give up on this game – because it’s epically brilliant. Or just auto-start the game? What’s the point of holding the pause button? The game developers might want to add a prompt if the user fails to hold the pause button for long enough. I’m unsure if anyone else had this problem with Ghost Giant? Or it was just me being dumb. TO START THE GAME… HOLD THE PAUSE BUTTON FOR LONGER Once you do that the game will start no problem. The TRICK IS TO PRESS AND HOLD THE PAUSE BUTTON for a few seconds. Now, to be fair to the games developers, I read that instruction as ‘press pause’, I did that multiple times without anything happening. The game tells you to press (and hold) the pause button. Great, but then nothing happens! I got stuck in a virtual black hole.Īfter 10 frustrating minutes trying to set-up ‘GHOST GIANT,’ I finally figured it out. A very frustrating problem! The set-up for the game is relatively easy, pull a few virtual levers and adjust viewing height to your physical height. I paid £18.99, downloaded it and hit install. Nevertheless, the cute character on the Quest’s Store made it look attractive. I knew nothing about it and did zero research about the game.
